A Warm Event for Special Education

On the afternoon of April 1, 2026, ahead of the 19th World Autism Awareness Day, a special-education event themed “Shengxue’s Light Protects the World of the Stars” was held at Wuyi County Special Education School.

Zhu Xiaohui, Chairman of Zhejiang Shengxue Leisure Products Co., Ltd., joined representatives of the Sunflower Charity Fund and Party members, together with leaders from the county education bureau, disabled persons’ federation and charity federation, as well as teachers, students and parents. The gathering became a shared expression of acceptance, inclusion and hope.

Letting the Sunflower Take Root in Wuyi

Students welcomed each guest with a blue ribbon symbolizing gratitude, care and love. The county education authority emphasized that special education is an important measure of social progress and called on more people to support children with autism.

An RMB 80,000 Donation

On behalf of Shengxue, Chairman Zhu donated RMB 80,000 through the Sunflower Charity Fund. The funds will purchase facilities for an autism rehabilitation room, sensory-integration training equipment and intelligent interactive devices, providing more professional support for rehabilitation and early intervention.

Zhu said the equipment would help teachers conduct early intervention more scientifically, allow children to enjoy interaction, and remind families that they are not alone on the journey of rehabilitation and education.

The school presented Shengxue with a commemorative banner bearing the words “Boundless Love, Devotion to Special Education.” Students also gave Chairman Zhu handmade beadwork as a sincere expression of gratitude.

Connection Through Shared Activities

Participants jointly created a colorful starry-sky painting. Shengxue representatives, teachers and students painted bright stars together, expressing the hope that every child will be seen, understood and treated with kindness.

Students performed sign-language drumming and energetic rope exercises. Shengxue representatives also made flower arrangements with the children in classroom activities. Laughter, applause and encouragement helped dissolve social distance through cooperation and interaction.

A Long-Term Commitment

Chairman Zhu stressed that the event was not an ending but a new beginning. Shengxue will incorporate support for the school into the Sunflower Charity Fund’s regular work, continue responding to the school’s needs, and organize employee volunteers to create safer and more comfortable outdoor activity environments for the children.

Guided by a culture of reverence and gratitude, Shengxue has supported public health and education, student assistance and rural development, environmental protection, disaster relief and poverty alleviation. To date, it has assisted employees in 25 rounds, organized 18 public-welfare activities and invested more than RMB 2 million in charitable programs.
